Confirmed from Seminole State Forest's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“The landscape is beautiful and this is the perfect time of the year to spend an extended amount of time out on the trails without being too hot.”

Some of the best hiking in Central Florida. Really great segment of the Florida National Scenic Trail. Lots of variety in habitats and wildlife. There are some beautiful small springs hidden in the forest.

This place is absolutely huge and a great place to "get away" for any nature lover. I've seen black bears, deer, turkeys, and so much more. 🐻🦌 It's great for hiking, cross country biking, dog walking, horseback riding, and occasionally public hunting.

I gave this place a visit today and I must say a very pleasant surprise. Great walking trails. Lots of flora and fauna. Hiked into a sulphur spring and boy did it smell! FYI...mosquitos don't mind the sulphur odor...bring repellent.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
