Confirmed from Florida Trail Deaton Bridge Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Florida Trail Deaton Bridge Trailhead
“Beautiful, quite trail really takes you back in the woods.”
About 20 standard parking places with 3 to 4 picnic tables and grills. Really nice and not used much. 2 trails here... florida trail and a 2 mile loop trail along the river and marsh. Day use fee area was $4.
Beautiful trail, nice flat walk through the woods. You can go for miles and miles.
Beautiful 1.5 mile hike through the backwater forest which runs along the river which you have beach access. The views are so beautiful, the water has a golden color to it due to the soil. The trail is short being 1.5 miles in a loop but it is very good for a quick beginner hiking/ walk in the state park.
