Confirmed from Flushing County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverfront destination featuring ball fields, playgrounds and paved walking trails.
What runners say about Flushing County Park
“The pavilion was clean, the tables clean, and the grills also clean.”
“There are plenty of gorgeous spots for family photos.”
“The people are nice all dogs have been friendly and get along quite well.”
Bathrooms are just outhouses in a bigger building, and they are pretty gross. Otherwise, it has a great playgroud and huge pavilions with fire places and plenty of seating. Peaceful walking is an option in the wooded areas or on the paved road. Definitely will return.
This is such a great place to visit. We visit often to go to the dog park- it is huge! It's divided for small dogs and big dogs. Everyone we have met at the park is always friendly, dog & humans alike. There are also trails for walks and bike rides, a playground and exercise area.
Great park! Everything you could want in a park is here! There is a kids park, baseball fields, pavilions, hiking, fishing, and a new dog park area. This park also connects with the Flushing River Walk. Great place to get outdoors. Keep your eyes open, you might get to see some of the parks resident deer.
Just a wonderful park all around. You can cross the Flint River, go exploring, playground, bathrooms, grills, dog park, lots of space to run and play and get some fresh air!
