If you are more of a nature minded person and love walking down winding trails in the woods. There are quite a few smaller trails,and of course the wildlife is amazing. It's a cool experience that is closby. The observation deck is pretty cool too.
Beautiful trail along the Flint River. Great place for a short hike or picnic with the family. There's also a canoe launch, playground, pavilion, and bathrooms.
Lovely little park. We were able to walk 2.75 miles on groomed trails — steps on hills and even paint marking the roots that could trip someone! There’s a pavilion, a playground, canoe launch and real toilets with soap and paper. I’m really impressed with the maintenance.
Needs some taking care of but overall a great nature walk. We used it for the boat launch. Easy access.
