Confirmed from Foote Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“The park is well kept and looks like funded by the Foote family managed through a trust that I think Bank of America runs for them.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Great place to walk, beautiful harbor/river views and paths are all paved and basically flat, great place for people recovering or disabled.”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“Great big park, has everything: playground, splashpad, bball courts, tennis, pickleball, baseball field, soccer, football, pavilions for shade.”

Beautiful and spacious. Plenty of parking. There's a splash pad, small playground, and a larger playground for older children. Walk the trails or just sit and look at the boats in the marina.

Nice park with a walking loop and lots of exercise/playing equipment around it. Looks like a park you would see Rocky working out at in a movie. Views of the marina, also has tennis courts, basketball, and the best playgrounds in Branford. Great in all seasons, better in the warmer months.

★★★★★ — M , Mar 2019

A very cozy beautiful place created for families. Has a little bit of everything.. so no matter the age you have or the sport you like … there’s a place for everyone to enjoy, play, walk or just get together to sit and talk :)

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
