“Absolutely beautiful during fall when the leaves change colors.”
Love this quick hike! I walk my dog here whenever I can. It’s a 1.5 half mile loop. Absolutely beautiful during fall when the leaves change colors. Wear appropriate shoes after it’s rained; many places on the trail flood because it’s an old cranberry bog. During busy times, parking is limited.
Cool, overcast to mildly sprinking day. Very few other people. Nice quiet walk on the circular path. Lots of ticks though, do be careful.
Beautiful area, easy to get to and a nice trail. Be extremely cautious with dogs on the trail during the spring and summer. I removed at least 30 ticks off of my two dogs and we only walked for about 15 minutes before turning around due to the large amount of ticks I could see collecting on them and myself.
Had a nice hike. Saw an osprey, a few frogs, a toad and an Oriole.But picked about 18 ticks off of our 2 dogs when we got home.
