A bit disappointed that pets are no longer allowed here. Makes sense to protect wildlife, but they used to be allowed so it was unexpected when I tried taking my dog for a walk there today. However, it's a beautiful place and I would recommend for a nature walk.
Are you looking for a quiet place to get out and walk and get in tune with nature this is it. This was a really beautiful spot to enjoy birding wildlife in Port Washington Wisconsin.
If you are looking for a quiet place where you can stroll through nature, this is it. The preserve is huge. I've been there several times this winter, and I haven't encountered anyone else on my walks.
Great out of the way place for birding and just being outside. Well maintained trails and lots of space to wonder.
