Confirmed from Malaga Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park at the lake's shore, featuring a playground and nature trails.
What runners say about Malaga Lake Park
“There is a well kept playground for the kids and a boat dock for the fishermen.”
“Beautiful views of the lake and peaceful sounds of wind blowing through countless pine trees.”
“The boat ramp is nice for getting in your kayak, and the water is calm and easy to paddle about.”
Wonderfully peaceful. There is a nice sandy road (nice by walking definitions, not driving unless you have a truck) you can walk along. Largely quiet. Beautiful views of the lake and peaceful sounds of wind blowing through countless pine trees. Occasional bird song. Seems like it'll be great for passerine migration.
Beautiful lake & trails. It was such a beautiful day today I decided to take a walk around the lake.
Love this lake and trail for a quick hike. Great boating ramp and beach area. I take my dog here a lot
It is a very nice park, you can take walks in the woods on the trails(on the right side of the park) have bbq's , there is a place for kids to play. I had my birthday party there. There is plenty of space to play corn hole or whatever you like. You could easily spend the day there.
