Confirmed from Forsythe Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Forsythe Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (960 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“A clean park and many different play sets.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Big beautiful oak trees provide abundant shade.”

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

Great place to let kids run and play. They have swing sets, slides, walking and jogging paths, fenced in areas for ball games...can even sit and watch the squirrels run up and down the trees

★★★★★ — Josette , Aug 2022

Great variety play equipment for the kids. Good place to get a walk in the park as long it's not muddy. There is enough sidewalk near the playground. The rest of the park is good for tennis, walking having a picnic at a picnic table.

★★★★☆ — Janessa , Dec 2025

Great nature, and walking trails. Only the kids playground needs A LOT of work on!.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 4 mentions

“We may drive right across the street to the RIVER VIEW AND ENJOY THE BOATS AND JET SKIS.”
