Confirmed from Restoration Park West Monroe's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Restoration Park West Monroe

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (457 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Loved the trails, the boardwalk and lake were beautiful!”

One of my favorite things to do is to go to weddings I wasn't invited to and eat all their cake. Then before the police arrive I bail out. But I don't wanna catch the diabeties so fueled by a massive sugar high , I walk it off here at the restoration park and nothing will stop me, not even Snowmageddon 2021...

Nice park, interesting history. It's impressive what the city of West Monroe has done to create this. Good place for a walk, too.

★★★★★ — Patrick , Nov 2024

Great place for a quiet walk in the woods. Lots of wildlife! We saw an armadillo among the reptile inhabitants. We found evidence of a beaver. I always come here when I visit!

Great place to walk w/ my dogs. The driving distance is excellent when you think of a nature trail. The trails have markers so you're able to GPS your location if need be. It's always nice to see other people walking their dogs that have a mutual respect of other a animals. Great place!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 6 mentions

“Restoration Park is my go to place to take my dogs for their exercise and for mine.”
