Confirmed from Fox River Parkway North's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park showcasing trails for hiking and walking, along with a playground.
What runners say about Fox River Parkway North
“Well maintained with a nice network of trails, some paved for biking and other wood chip trails in the forest for hiking.”
“Absolutely beautiful park, we love the trail and the nature play area the most!”
This parkway is great! The Fox River Parkway and the Fox River Trail run from the Fox River Park to the Fox River Sanctuary. Walking or biking from the park to the sanctuary, I would guess 4-5 miles. You can do that route and only cross traffic once.
I really like this riverside walk. Quiet, wildlife seem to always be present.
If you are looking for a relaxing walk outside and to enjoy nature, the Fox River Parkway North is a great place to go. It is never too crowded and the people that are walking and cycling through the park are incredibly friendly.
Nice walking trails, and a bike path that connects with the Fox River Parkway. Also there is a fun nature park for kids to play at and explore.
