Confirmed from Frank Varra Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Frank Varra Park
“Nice peaceful park on the perimeter of the Flatiron Crossing Mall.”
This is a hidden gem of a park right below Flatirons Mall. It has a pleasant walking/bike trail with lots of birds to observe. It is, however, noisy from highway 36 traffic noise, but it is barely noticed with the fantastic scenery. This hosts a small pond to have a picnic next to it, but you cannot swim or boat in it.
Lovely hidden gem for fall colors. Took pics of my kiddo, they came out great. Just know that there's no dedicated parking, so it's best to park by the mall and walk. There looked like there were a few paved trail loops, we saw some bicyclists.
It has a great bike trails going through it sad note it's named after a miner that died there
This park has a few decent trails passing through, and a charming little waterfall. There are some picnic tables for a lunch in the park as well.
