Confirmed from Franklin Mountain Natural Cave's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Franklin Mountain Natural Cave
I parked across the highway at the Sierra Vista Trailhead and walked across the highway up to the trailhead about a quarter of a mile. I went up to the saddle and up to the Anthony Gap Cave. I didn’t try entering as it looked to challenging of a climb in and it’s just me.
Trail conditions & character
“The last entrance to enter to the cave that one is really tight but other than that it was fun first time and by myself lol😅 also it free to enter and free parking.”
