Confirmed from Freedom Hills Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Freedom Hills Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (288 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“Very good views of the valley and it's well maintained with plenty of parking.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“Beautiful and fun disc golf course Love that each hole gives you a map of the hole and at the end of the hole there is a arrow showing you where the next hole is!”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Very chill, quiet, fun park for our family, which doesn’t like congestion and crowds.”

This is a very beautiful park to go to with family and friends. There is a big well kept field that you can play on. Side walks around the edge that are very pleasant and smooth to bike, scooter, or rollerblade on. There’s also a playground and a little sitting area. The parking lot is a little small but big enough.

Great shorts course!! Very fun. "Share the park"; some shots are kind of tight with the pedestrian traffic, and the folks with fencing are very nice, but please walk around to the front door, and ask to get your disc should it go over the fence.

Beautiful clean well kept and fun disc golf course with great walking paths.

My favorite Centerville Park. With older kids now that aren’t really into sports, this park is perfect for hiking and even disc golf. We really like the disc golf course. I think it’s perfect for beginners.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“You throw from the top of a hill down over some trees, well there is some thorny bushes in there as well so try your hardest to throw long; otherwise I hope you wore pants.”
