Confirmed from Freedom Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean park, with walking trails and sports facilities.
What runners say about Freedom Park
“This is a very nice small park with a surprising number of sports options, and was clean and well-kept.”
“Very quiet and well maintained One can walk run jog or just scroll on the paths around the lake.”
Nice little park. Don't let the pictures fool you. There is no lake here. B-ball court, volleyball, soccer field, diamond and a playground. Walking path is just under a half mile.
The park itself is nice. Easy to find. We had a shelter reserved for a birthday party. The restroom had no toilet paper and people we're walking through the shelter while we were having a party. That has nothing to do with the park but the rudeness of the adults and kids was wrong.
Very quiet and well maintained One can walk run jog or just scroll on the paths around the lake. Many pics I tables and benches to just sit and relax
With the warmer weather, I was wanting a new place to fly my drone, and this location was outside of the CVG controlled airspace. This is a very nice small park with a surprising number of sports options, and was clean and well-kept. A number of people just walked the running track around the park, and a few had dogs.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
