Confirmed from Presidents Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Woohoo! I didn't have much time but Sir Rebellious insisted. As I navigated through the neighborhood;wondering.... What do people that live here do for work? It was an peaceful drive on a two lane well maintained road. No traffic. The hospital and college are nearby the park certain hours it's busy.

Excellent little park. It has playgrounds, basketball, volleyball, a rental place called the white house, playgrounds, grills and picnic tables. We had a nice afternoon walking, exploring after meeting for a picnic.

★★★★★ — Carey , Apr 2026

Two playgrounds, mentioning it because we didn't see the second one until we walked the path. The playground at the front of the park has a gated "staging" area before the kids can get in or out, like a dog park LOL. That was helpful with two littles. The walking path is entirely paved.

★★★★★ — Tellina , May 2026

Typically a very family friendly atmosphere with a variety of playground equipment (appropriate for all ages across the board), plenty of parking spots, benches, swings, shelters, open grass areas along with the tennis courts, basketball court, baseball/softball fields, walking trails, clean bathrooms and garbage cans.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
