Confirmed from Friendship Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Friendship Park
“Very clean playground with soft rubber padding covering every square foot of ground.”
“This part is a beautiful place to take your children or grandchildren to play.”
“One if the best parks I've been to and all free, they even have a slash pad for the summer months, the play area has a spot for little ones and it grows for children if all ages.”
I went to the park early morning saw a sign that they opened at 7 am i was just looking for a place to get a decent walk in with my well behaved well trained but also very protective dog Liviee 🐾🥰 I have not exposed her to many different unfamiliar places so she is subject to bark say IDK about you dude !
Playground is awesome. We drove up from Bay St Louis to come here. Well worth the drive. Best park in 75 miles from our house. Even has a small zip line.
Trail conditions & character
“The restroom facilities were extremely well kept and clean and the playground is second to none anywhere in this area for sure.”
“There is water fountain as part of the playground for hot sunny day.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
