We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Fritz Burns Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park featuring 4 tennis courts, 16 pickleball courts, a playground, and a skate park.
What runners say about Fritz Burns Park
“They have a clean playground, tables, large open grass area, tennis court and an enclosed dog park.”
“12 courts for regular (all levels) of open play.”
Fritz Burns has what most parks don't: Tennis, pickleball, pool, play area, open field, close to mountain trails. It's a family favorite.
Wow. What a makeover in June of 2026. The dog park has been moved to the Calle Tampico side in the water runoff area, with little to no seating for owners and was not enlarged. But the park itself is beautiful and lends itself to gatherings of families and friends.
Trail conditions & character
“The pool and parking appears to be under reconstruction currently so there is very few parking spots on-site and I have park in the neighborhood across the street.”
