Confirmed from Froemming Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed, family-friendly, green space featuring sand volleyball, baseball, and tennis courts, plus a beer garden.
What runners say about Froemming Park
“There's a covered park building to picnic at and beautiful bike paths!”
It's a nice park in a nice location. A variety of items on the playground area, tennis court, volleyball area, as well as walking trails. The biggest downfall by far is not being able to utilize the public restrooms. Our visits are always cut shorter than wanted due to needing to leave for bathroom facilities.
Beware of the lady with the pointer/pointer mix that wears what sounds like a small cow bell. She is a THIEF. Can't even set MY dogs ball down to go for a walk without coming back to find her walking away with it. Thought we learned in kindergarten not to take other people's things.
This is a nice park with a good playground for kids. It's right on the Oak Leaf Trail and next to the sports complex so it's surrounded by ball fields and a disc golf course. It has bathrooms and a picnic shelter. One sand volleyball court is just ok.
Really good place to be for maybe a mini cookout, a decently long hike, or just play in the sun on the large playground. Sports fields for the baseball or American football fan in your family, and restrooms open all day. Only downside is lack of shade in parking and in the playground.
