Confirmed from Frohring Meadows' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Prairie & woodland trails cut through this 289-acre park that's also home to a butterfly garden.
What runners say about Frohring Meadows
“The site was meticulously clean and welcoming, and the event was delightful.”
“On other occasions I have walked the paths with friends and family--it's a beautiful space, with open walkways as well as more treelined areas for hikers sheltered from tbe sun.”
“A peaceful, scenic spot we can’t wait to visit again!”
Very nice enclosed Pavillion for picking with earthy playground for kids. Hiking area is in the middle of a field of allergy iritating plants and flowers so if you have allergies this may not be the place you would want to go hiking. Trails are wide with plenty of passing room anyone with special needs.
Excellent combination of meadows and woods with several options for length of walk/hike. There's plenty of parking and a very nice building available to reserve for gatherings, as well as 2 pit toilets, no water though. Watch for bird houses and frogs! Great photo opportunity.
Great park to come and relax at. Very easy to get outside and see nature, if your handicapped. They have little less than a mile paved trail and another trail that goes through an open field then turns into wooded area of the park.
It’s beautiful hiking trail for the whole family and picnic place! Amazing place is full filling beautiful wild flowers right now! Enjoy very much!
