Confirmed from Ghiloni Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Ghiloni Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (355 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“Amazing park and Splash pad, open fields Basketball court and walk/biking trails, very clean restrooms and double sets of swings!”

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“There's some shade for the park but no shade at all around the splash pad.”

This is a great park. There are quite a few grass fields to play with kids and dogs. There's a kids playground and a water splash area, which was not working on the day I stopped by. If you want to walk, there's a good long trail which goes around the whole park

No complains about this park. I go running here frequently since it is in walking distance from my apartment. Lots of room and parking. Always a good time here. Lots of dogs around.

Super cute and clean park. There’s a great playground with unique structures. One structure is geared toward younger kids and one towards older kids. There is also a small plans area. Perfect for cooking off on a hot day.

Great park, lots of paved paths through woods, nice playground for kids. Also a good place for dog walking. Recently put in a new splash pad and playground equipment. Also a new free range dog area but it's not open yet.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 7 mentions

“Other notes: plenty of parking, electric car chargers (not sure if they are free or with $$), there is also a waking trail.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
