Confirmed from Taysom Rotary Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Taysom Rotary Park
“Beautiful park, well maintained, right across the Greenway trail from the Portneuf River and a common put-in point.”
“This is a nice little park to do a short easy walk in.”
It is a clean, pleasant little park with a small pavilion and rest room. Motor access is from the adjacent Bannock Highway. Foot and bicycle access is from the Portneuf River Greenway Trail (asphalt). The highway and the trail are on the opposite ends of the park.
It's nice and shady with a portable bathroom and pocatelli greenway path where you can walk along side of the river .Relaxing a good place to go reenergize yourself without the worry of a lot of people around very peaceful
Beautiful park, well maintained, right across the Greenway trail from the Portneuf River and a common put-in point. Trees, grass, benches, a pavilion, and lots of room to roam.
This is a nice little park to do a short easy walk in. One small hill then either way is flat for easy walking.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
