Confirmed from Gilbert Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large splash pad, modern playground & a fishing lake, plus pickleball, volleyball & tennis courts.
What runners say about Gilbert Regional Park
“Well-kept and engaging play areas, and if they like water, a fun interactive water park to have a blast in.”
“The wildlife here is beautiful, and the desert greenery and flora are tastefully presented.”
“There are a ton of areas really well thought out and fun for all ages.”
This park is awesome. You can spend the entire day here. They have a splash pad, a ping pong table, basketball tennis and volleyball courts. They have a lake to go fishing, a friendship garden. The playground is seriously awesome and they have a zip line a concrete slide.
First time visiting over the weekend with our family of 6 for an informal Pokémon meet-up. This park is massive! It has a variety of playground area and swings, many ramadas, tons of grass and splash pad. Only minor gripe is the majority of it is on a hill so be mindful for your smaller children.
This is one of our favorite parks! It has the coolest playground, a splash pad, a lake for fishing, pickleball, volleyball etc! We love playing there during the day and going back and walking around the lake in the evening! ❤️🙂
Go to park for slides and some water pad if you need it. Nice to walk and enjoy the weather in winter as well. Wide open fields for some ball tossing or boomerang action and some tennis, basketball and busy pickleball courts.
Trail conditions & character
“Hands-down, this park has the best views in the morning time, especially when there are clouds in the sky that reflect off of the pond water.”
“There are also bathrooms really close to the playground and lots of pavilions with picnic tables, very convenient.”
“They have clean accessible restrooms and water bottle station.”
“Many slides, some short, some really long, unique roller, and a fast concrete that ejects you and kids at the bottom.”
“Well, manicured loans forget how many picnic tables restrooms water fountains?”
