I mean they are using the term "park" rather loosely! It's one 1/4 of a mile paved trail that sits tightly against an obnoxiously large apartment complex that casts it's shadow over the entire "park" their are separate crude side paths u can branch off and explore to see where they take u, *spoiler alert* they all…
While I wish the spot was larger it has a main paved path and a succession of small dirt paths. These pads allow you to wander around in circles if you so desire and it's good for a run because it allows you to circle around without having to stop and turned back.
We just attended a wonderful event at the park, the 1st Annual Dog Fest! It was organized by the Friends of the Gladstone Nature Park and had local vendors that cater to our furry family and the local Gladstone Oak Lodge Rotary Club had a Beer Garden and BBQ. It was great!
I moved into the area in 2015 and remember thinking “it’s one paved path, it’s not a park, it’s a shortcut”. Fast forward a few short years and WOW, it’s an excellent local park. We walk our dog through there multiple times per week and enjoy seeing all the changes and growth each year.
