Confirmed from Meldrum Bar Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Family-friendly, and just altogether a good place for a quick close getaway.”

Great property! Tested out a new off-road RC truck. Plenty of father/son memories being made here. Not busy at all on a Sunday morning. This park has a BMX course, boat ramp with plenty of drive up fishing spots, a large community garden with free composted mulch to be taken, a dog park with trails, some ball fields,…

It's a really nice park considering it's in the middle of a city. I wouldn't swim in the river there, but there's duck, geese, a paved trail, good spots for watching the sun set, plenty of parking, and a nice covered tree area. Very popular spot.

Nice park, huge trees. Good access.to the Willamette River. Some trails, but I didn't check them out. Very good access by bicycle along the Willamette River from Portland via the Trolley Trail.

Great location to play at the park, go for a walk or play in the water. We went fishing and had a great time. Parking fee is $3 or $40 for a year pass. There is an rc track and local garden.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“DOG PEOPLE A fisherman let me know that letting the dogs in the water screws up the fishing for quite a while because the fish can “smell” that a predator has been there.”
