Confirmed from Glenn Weaver Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly playground featuring swings, a slide and picnic tables.
What runners say about Glenn Weaver Memorial Park
“I would visit it more if it was cleaned more often, as the last time we went, there were smashed beer bottles that we had to clean up.”
“I'm older so there was no way I would be playing on the equipment but I will say that this park has no only great equipment for kids to play on but it has great views.”
The playground equipment is better for children ages 5+ with not much to do for very young toddlers. The green is well kept, although some of the low areas can get a little soggy (despite the drain in the grass) the pavilion can host a good number of people, however there is only street-side parking, so it is not…
This park has very fun toys and obstacles for kids to play on. My boys love it! Besides the toys they also like running or rolling down the hill as well. We call it the "playground by the water tower". It has cool orange and green colors.
Cute little park aimed at older kids, not much for the toddlers to do. No bathroom and on the road parking. Nice grill and tables under a gazebo. Great mountain a small walking trail and plenty of green space.
It is a fun park and the kids love running up and down the hill. The playground equipment is fun, but not toddler friendly. It is more for a bit older kids.
Trail conditions & character
“I'm older so there was no way I would be playing on the equipment but I will say that this park has no only great equipment for kids to play on but it has great views.”
“There is a little hill towards the center of the park that I like to sit on when I read it’s very relaxing and it has great views of the salt lake valley.”
“The only drawback for me is the lack of bathroom facilities.”
“There is a nice new shelter with tables for picnics and a drinking fountain close as well.”
