Confirmed from Lodestone Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Sports fields/courts, a big playground, zip line & picnic shelter are the draw at this popular park.

What runners say about Lodestone Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (2,020 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌳 shaded & cool 4 mentions

“Given the westward position in the valley it is the first onsee sun in the morning and first to start into shade.”

This is a park is a gem. There are tons of fun equipment for kids to enjoy and spread out. Lots of places for parents to sit and watch their kids, and also a lot of paved paths around the playground for walking.

★★★★★ — Anna , Nov 2023

The mountain bike trails just officially opened, and they're fun! As an adaptive rider I was able to navigate most of the trails independently, and enjoyed them. Everything is really close. The bathrooms weren't in the best condition. There also wasn't a lot of accessible parking.

★★★★☆ — Amanda , May 2025

It's clean, has a beautiful view, a very nice playground and courts. There's a paved walkway and some off-road paths. There's also a pretty big pavilion and restrooms. Very dog friendly

★★★★★ — Krystal , Sep 2024

Seriously one of the coolest parks I've ever been to. My kids had a blast. There are 3 different t play parks some have things for bigger kids which is way cool.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
