Confirmed from Glenwood Open Space Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Glenwood Open Space Preserve
“Super easy, well-cut trails and beautiful lupines and poppies everywhere!”
“Really beautiful and peaceful.”
Really beautiful and peaceful. It's sooooo quiet. And barely anyone there. Hard to find private, quiet places nowadays. Also gives freedom to walk wherever you want over the hills. It's a special place. Pond has turtles, fish, ducks, and frogs
Excellent hiking, horsebackriding and biking trails all throughout lower Glenwood Drive. I have explored these areas since I was a kid, but in 2013 my Mother and a group of naturalist worked diligently making this wonderful area and Preserve!
I had the chance to visit for the first time last week. Super easy, well-cut trails and beautiful lupines and poppies everywhere! I found easy parking a little bit down the street, and then walked in. The entire space has a combination of open meadows and shaded forest areas.
had a wonderful hike with friends. the trail was clear and simple, we had beautiful views
