Confirmed from Gouldsboro State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Great family oriented park for all ages.”

Such a clean park with so much to do. I love all the paths through the woods. The beach area is really nice and it's great that they allow swimming. (No dogs on the beach or in the water.) They have small boats there for rent and a nice wide boat ramp.

Comprehensive Review: Gouldsboro State Park is adjacent to Tobyhanna State Park. It is a more rustic park than Tobyhanna. It has no running water bathrooms and no camping. The lake water quality tends to be lower than at Tobyhanna. What I do like is the picnic table grove near the lake.

Other than a breathtaking view, there’s much to look forward to at Gouldsboro State Park, such as a sanded lake for swimming, an on-site playground, a designated dog run, and picnic tables throughout the park - most of which have a charcoal grill posted feet away.

This fantastic sprawling state park located near Big Bass Lake offers a truly exceptional experience. Encompassing nearly 3000 acres, it presents a wealth of natural beauty for all to enjoy. Multiple gorgeous trails wind through the landscape, inviting exploration and discovery.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
