We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Grand Gulf State Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Stunning state park with deep canyons, a sink, trails and picnic tables.
What runners say about Grand Gulf State Park
“Primitive restrooms, lots of steps in some areas but all well kept.”
“This was a beautiful place and I love the spots that walked down to the bottom.”
This was a beautiful place and I love the spots that walked down to the bottom. There was water in parts that are usually dry so I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to walk in those areas like I've seen on other visitor's photos but it turned out to be a great hike.
Beautiful park with 2 easily accessible platforms for viewing. 2 different hikes (15 minutes and 40 minutes). We arrived just before dusk so we only did the shorter hike. Breathtaking views. Trails are in excellent condition and are maintained. On-site lavs and picnic table. Great place to stretch, explore and relax.
This is an amazing place. It is also called Missouri Little Grand Canyon. I've been coming here since the early 80's. And now it a state park. Daytime use only. There are picknich tables and a restroom near the parking area.
We really enjoyed visiting this lovely place. Be sure to read all the information posted to better appreciate the history surrounding this location. The longer trail was a bit underwhelming, but good for steps. You don't see much of the canyon itself.

“Climb down to the bottom at great risk, I only saw one established trail, and it was very steep.”
“Primitive restrooms, lots of steps in some areas but all well kept.”
“Unexpected canyon and natural Bridge (that's hard to see unless you walk to the end of the platform on the right side of the parking).”
“Beautiful quick trails that are easily accessible to most ability levels.”
