We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Grand Ridge Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Grand Ridge Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (14 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

This is not necessarily a trailhead, but a trail crossing in Grand Ridge Park. There is no real parking to speak of no facilities. I typically just run across the road to the other section of the park.

was hoping to do much less than the ~7 miles of hike for the Grand Ridge Park (from the Central Park area). And looking at the Google_Map, i found there's a probably a shorter ~3+ miles-loop hike from a "Trailhead/Connector" at Grand Ridge Dr (GPS Co-ordinates approx: 47.54303, -121.98888).

You can hike from here! Park on NE Harrison street and walk to the trailhead, which is located on a private road (it’s ok to walk on it though). The trailhead here connects to a lovely series of trails that crisscross the hillside. A very pleasant place for a walk, just watch out for mountain bikers!😊

I’ve been riding this trail since it was a horse trail. With incredible trail maintenance and improvements over the years, it’s evolved into a fantastic network of well managed trails, still frequented and shared by wildlife. Some days are just magical.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
