Confirmed from Issaquah Highlands Lake Loop's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Small hiking area featuring a pond, a water feature, and a walking trail.
What runners say about Issaquah Highlands Lake Loop
“Beautiful place to walk around and to play in snow”
Nice paved walking trail around pond with pretty waterfall. Each loop around the pond is 1/3 of a mile. Lots of street parking. For cardio, stair climbing is right off of 10th Ave NE across from NE Ellis Dr.
Cute, small 'lake' to walk around with a small water feature. Not exactly in nature as it's surrounded by condos, etc... but nice walking trail none the less.
A serene, pristine, and family and pet friendly walking trail in the Issaquah Highlands. The trail also has a small waterfall.
Nice little paved walking path around a duck pond with a pretty man-made waterfall. 3 different trails branch off of the loop and lead to dining/shopping, residential neighborhoods.

- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
