Confirmed from Landis Woods Park & trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded park with kid-friendly trails and a nature museum for a tranquil stroll or picnic.

“Quiet, even though the Lititz Pike is literally a stones throw away.”
For the area, a great paved walking trail and wooded paths…. Rarely busy. I often see deer and other wildlife, as all as all kinds of plants.
First time here....several areas to park close to the 3 trails- red, yellow, and blue. Trails are marked but can be confusing (ex: you'll come to an intersection where the blue trail.goes 3 different ways). Most of trail is typical woods, but some parts are mulched nicely to prevent overly muddy situation.
The trails are perfect for kids. Low grade, short, and covered. The marker signs and blazing are color coded. Perfect for little ones navigating. Thankfully we went on a day not many people were around. Barely saw anyone on the trails themselves, however someone did have an off leash dog in the parking lot.
It’s an ok park for trails. The kiddos and I are doing the “Go Lancaster” and the instructions on finding the stamp was hard. Once we found the right trail we were so happy. Nice park for maybe bikes and walking dogs, not so much for kids.

“Great place to go for a walk in the woods, multiple routes, very wooded, bring bug repellent, trails are narrow, and not paved”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
