Confirmed from Stoner Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Looping trail for walking and biking, plus ball fields and a playground, in an open space.
What runners say about Stoner Park
*Edit: the playground has been renovated and is bigger now. We still love going there, but it is a better playground for ages 5 and up. We bring our daughter here once a week as a family outing. There is a playground which is great for small kids and 2 swings, 1 regular and 1 baby swing. Beautiful fall foliage!
A great little Park where my nephew's play their baseball games. There is a bike trail which gives rides through the circumference of the park as well. there were picnic tables with gazebos and in plenty of places to sit down and picnic.
This is a nice quiet park. Small, out of the way. Paved walking trail around the park. Pavillion and bathroom structures. A small hill on one side of the park provides for an elevation change of the path around the park. Basketball court, sand volleyball court, baseball field and small playground.
Nice medium sized park. Has a really good loop for walking/riding. We used it as a training for bike riding. Bathrooms were open at the time of this posting.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
