Confirmed from Green Point's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Green Point

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (27 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 13 mentions

“Pretty spot to lay in the sun, take a nap, have lunch, or just enjoy the great views, hoping some whales swim by at the right time.”

Nice 2 mile loop to walk, run or just enjoy a nice day with family, friends and dogs. Nice route for the doggies to get their exercise. I highly recommend this location.

★★★★★ — Mr. , Dec 2023

The scenic loop is amazing, the views are gorgeous so definitely stop by. There is a small lot or a few random spots to pull into throughout the loop. Did see a few porta potties at some viewpoints. I mainly came to the park for Green Point to see the exposed Earth’s mantle. Very interesting to read about.

This is a hidden gem. One way loop with beautiful views. There is a small parking lot as you keep driving, or a few car spots that you can pull into (car facing the lake). There are a few picnic tables and benches for us to enjoy the view. Definitely worth stopping by, especially for the sunset!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
