Nice clean park but there always tons of kids there so don't expect much beach time if you're going for an adult only day trip during the spring/summer. The trails are decent though which make up for how busy it gets and the lake is beautiful to just sit and look at.
Great campground pet friendly. It was only $35.00 for a site with power. The dump station is near the main entrance, which is easy to locate. Campground has lots of hills, some really steep. The lake was cold and amazing. My family and I had a great time at the lake and walking the trails.
Large, pleasant and relaxing park. I really liked the peacefulness of the area, the beach by the lake, the mini hiking in the forest, the walking tour of the lake, the beach and the bird calls as the only surrounding noise in some spots. I’d have loved to encounter a black bear 🤪
We made reservations for the weekend on their website, and paid $5 pp at the time of reservation. We got an email confirmation with a QR that we showed to the ranger. We for there around 10am parking wasnt difficult there were plenty of spots. None were that far from the park.
