Confirmed from Kiwanis Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful park featuring kayak access and a gazebo on Antietam Creek.
What runners say about Kiwanis Park
“Very peaceful and quiet area, perfect mid morning walk location.”
Delight, Quiet and Peaceful! Small Park Off the Beaten Path with Kayak and Canoe Access to Antietam Creek. Walking Paths with Gazebo.
Recently opened in 2016, it's a quaint little park hiding behind multi-story office buildings. Handicap accessible paved parking lot and paved trails with two boardwalks lead up to a gazebo and monarch way station. Also has paved/flat stone trail down to the Antietam Creek where you can enter with kayaks/canoes.
Really small park that consists of a small paved path through the woods, a pavilion, a butterfly waystation and kayak access to the Antietam Creek. Very peaceful and quiet area, perfect mid morning walk location. Easy to access from Light Business Park area with convenient sidewalk access
Nice, small place. A bit of a walk to the water (maybe 50-60 yards?) from the parking lot so if you are bringing a canoe/kayak be prepared to carry it. People were fishing there from the rocks but there is no beach/ swimming area.
