Confirmed from Greenport Conservation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Really beautiful scenic walk near the Hudson, where you can catch a glimpse of the Catskill Mountains in the horizon. Went at the tail end of the winter, so nothing is growing yet, but I can imagine it’s gorgeous in the Spring when everything is in bloom. Everything is relatively flat so it’s a very leisurely walk.

Beautiful park. Lots to explore, a real variety of trails and great scenery. After two visits, I haven't come anywhere near exploring all of it.

This place is a little piece of heaven, not only are the trails gorgeous, but easy for beginners and for anyone who wants some peace and quiet. Dusk was perfect timing to visit. If you want to have a picnic or just have a conversation this is what you're looking for in an afternoon hike.

Very peaceful and great place to take pictures. Much larger area than I previously thought. Several different trails. Some leading to overlook areas or picnic areas. There's benches in several areas as well.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
