Confirmed from Gregory Mill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Neighborhood park with a large splash pad, sheltered picnic/grill area & paved walking trail.

“Taking a walk here feels like stepping into a pocket of calm right in the middle of everyday life.”
Love the creek area. There is a nice splash pad for the little kids. A basketball hoop in the parking lot. I have seen people grill and picnic. One paved loop around it. Dog friendly.
Love this spot. Lots of cozy areas to read in. Nice trail to walk. Nice scenery. Covered eating areas. Splash pad for the kids. My fave spot is the creek though. So peaceful and grounding! I only wish the trail in the creek area was better maintained and for more cleared space to relax along the water.

It has been a few years since I visited the park and time has been good to this little hidden jem in Smyrna, weather you want to take your kiddos to the splash pad at the front or go on a leisurely stroll with the love of your life on the walking trail or if your adventurous like my fiance and I and venture off the…

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
