Confirmed from Smyrna Parks & Recreation Department's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly recreation area with a splash pad and a baseball field, plus picnic spots.
What runners say about Smyrna Parks & Recreation Department
“They have fairly clean restrooms for a public park and several areas to grill and have birthday parties.”
Looking for an old school playground where kids can be kids, run around, and test their limits? The Lee Recreation area is your spot. Kids might scrape their knees here, or worry about being too high, you know the formative experiences that make kids cool people.
Nice area for the kids to play on the playground! Pretty clean and enough swings and other stuff for lots of people. Tennis/basketball courts, soccer/football/baseball fields are in good condition. Excellent lighting at night as well. Nice walking trail.
Great place lots of shade you can use the grills there or walk the trails swings slides plenty of room for the kids to burn that energy out my son and me like it there been bringing him there since he could walk
It was a very nice park with wide, enchanting trails that wind through the lush, green forest. There are multiple, clean pavilions. My experience was completely positive.
