Confirmed from Hafen Lane Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I love Hafen Lane Park and the walking trail that runs behind it. I can walk my dogs all the way from the ball fields on Old Mill Rd. to Mesquite Blvd. (there is an underpass that goes under Mesquite Blvd.), then on to Pulsipher Park and ultimately if you keep going you end up behind Hafen Lane Park.

Clean, quiet park. The playground was shaded and in great condition. My little one loved it! The picnic pavillion was clean and there were lots of tables. The pond and turtles were super cool too. We stopped to eat lunch and let the toddler run off some energy while driving back to SLC.

It's a good place to throw a ball or or Frisbee for your dogs. Large grassy area for the pups to run. It's not an enclosed dog park. But a wide open area with other well behaved dogs. There's a trail that's paved. Also a sandy trail to the Virgin river. Restrooms and playground.

The pond isn't the cleanest, but the splash pad is great, and they offer things the other parks don't, such as tennis courts, and bike trails. The tables could always use a little cleaning, but this park is still a family favorite.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
