Confirmed from New Bearclaw Poppy Navajo Trailhead (Biking)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Mountain biking area offering a network of smooth, single-track trails for riders of all skill levels.
What runners say about New Bearclaw Poppy Navajo Trailhead (Biking)
Great parking lot. Easy access. Great trial catered to all skill levels. A lot of fun. Not too busy. Super fun! No shade so come early or expect heat. So much fun! I took the 8 mile loop to the five fingers of death. So much fun. Recommend to anyone. Novice or veteran. Don’t miss it.
Epic views and mountain biking trail network. Had so much fun here!!! Mostly green trails (near parking area at least) that are super fast and fun.
I still know it as the Bloomington Loop from 25 years ago. (Not too fond of the new name) Still just as fun! They now have a parking lot at the end of Navajo Drive, with restrooms and bike station. They have a designated "up" trail from the parking lot to the clavicle at the end of the flat-top mesa.
Of the two most commonly used Bearclaw Poppy Trail heads this is the easiest. There is plenty of parking even for standard Passenger cars no 4 wheel drive required. Just a hop skip and a jump over the fence and you are on the trail heading up the hill in the wash to join the downhill Trail after a couple miles.

“Awesome trail, visited in September of 2020 during a three week tour of national parks, what a great ride, so many lines coming downhill I had to loop back and ride it again.”
