Confirmed from Hamburg Dog Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Really nice big place, very clean, and well kept. I love that they have poop bags on hand, water bowls, and toys for the dogs. 2 huge areas for the dogs to run and play. During the day, it's pretty quiet, just a couple other dogs. They done it right in Hamburg for sure.

A great big fenced area for your dog to run and play with other dogs. It is separated into 2 areas, big dog and small dog. There is watering station and a poop bag station. This place is the answer to my prayers! We loved it! I highly recommend it to anyone else dog owner. We will be going back there very soon.😊

Rated it five stars, mostly for being open 24 hours. Lots of space for my dogs to run around and get their zoomies out. They do provide a water and poop bags. Plenty of benches for me to sit while the dogs play. Definitely check it out.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 60 mentions

“I absolutely love this dog park my dogs used to be “ aggressive” but actually it was just that they were not socialized enough and a dog park is the best way to do it.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
