Confirmed from Hanover Pond Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Hanover Pond Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (7 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

The main trail is a beautiful, short, paved, clean, wide trail that starts near a lake and crosses a stream with little hikes off of it. Great to go for a picnic, walk, jog, bike or just be one with nature. There are are benches located all along the trail if you need a break. Sometimes you'll see turtles crossing.

Parking lot for this area.Is an Outten back trail. It is also paved. There will be a slight short trail that will take you to the pond. Definitely a short easy walk.

★★★★★ — Joan , May 2024

Stroller friendly and great for a quick picnic. The main path is paved, flat, and not very long. My toddler loves running down the path and watching the chipmunks in the trees. Very pretty spot to spend an hour or two!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
