This is a fantastic park. Most trails are well marked and maintained. There is a nice pond at the bottom as well as a pool and playground. The star of the show is the tower, though. You can drive to it May through October, but I love earning it with a nice hike.
The park is amazing..this is the first time we went there for Daffodil festival.. the parade was wonderful 😍 shops and rides were also good during the festival. OMG!! The ducks .. my kid enjoyed very well..she was feeding and walking/running along with them.
This is one of my favorite local parks in Meriden. Now I go to take long walks & take in all the wildlife and beautiful scenery. I have been going here since I was a little one. I enjoy feeding the ducks. I buy duck pellets at Tractor Supply, very healthy food for them. You will also see turtles in the pond.
We love going to this park. So much to do. Great open area for a picnic. Kids have plenty of space to play. They have a wonderful playground with plenty of parking. A beautiful scenic view as you walk around the pond. And if your up for an adventure you can take a hike up to the castle.
