Confirmed from Happy Valley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Summer concerts lure locals to this green locale boasting multiple picnic shelters & sports spaces.
What runners say about Happy Valley Park
“The park is really clean, well maintained, and has a great open layout that makes it perfect for families, casual walks, or just sitting on the grass for a while.”
“Overall, it’s a beautiful community park that feels welcoming and well cared for.”
“My kids love both playgrounds, we like taking our dogs to the dog parks, walking around the path and checking out the duck ponds, and of course the splash pad!”
We love all of the different things to do at this park! My kids love both playgrounds, we like taking our dogs to the dog parks, walking around the path and checking out the duck ponds, and of course the splash pad! If you have little kids, the splash pad can get a little crowded with big groups of big kids though.
Besides the lovely neighbors that pulled their children from the pad (water) because my grandkids were african american, we had an absolutely amazing time there,we also walked the nature trails, they had a blast! We will definitely become regulars visiting 😁..
Fun and crowded par with 3 parking lots. Has a skateboard ramp , softball and soccer fields, tennis, basketball courts, toddler park, and jet fountain for kids to play. Really nice layout park with walking trails to dog park.
This is a wonderful place to bird watch, walk, picnic, play frisbee, and take photos. The paths through the wetlands are wide, wheelchair accessible, and flat. There are soccer fields, restrooms, a nice playground for kids as well. A dog park is located on the far south side of the park.
