Confirmed from Harlingen Sports Complex's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed, wooded park with soccer, baseball and softball fields, plus a running track.
What runners say about Harlingen Sports Complex
My kids like this park. We go walking here, they like to stop and watch the ducks and turtles in the little pond. This park has baseball fields, basketball court, playground, soccer field, a pavilion to host parties. Plenty of parking. Overall a good place to spend a Saturday evening with the family.
Area is always great to have a good walk, and the pond has quite a few warning signs of "NO SWIMMING" Which is a precaution for all. Basketball court available and a playground, along with the walking trail on the outskirts of the complex. Baseball fields available too, during season.
I love this park! Huge fields, huge playground! Nice lake with beautiful ducks. The only thing I would like the walking trail to be made out of pavement because this rocks can be very annoying when they get in your shoes. Other parks have it why not this one? If not I would give it 5 stars.
Ballfield are kept up and are very nice to play on. The gate to A, B, C, and D from the outfield side of field B was locked. First time I have been there, didn't mind the long walk around, just wish I knew
