Confirmed from Pendleton Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“It has good running trails , plenty of shade and benches to rest , also, it has a set of exercise equipment , but above all , you will find beautiful views .”

Nice walking trail, lots of ducks, few geese. Bathrooms are usually clean. My grandchildren love the playground. Great sunsets and moon rises.

This place is excellent. Best park I've been to in Harlingen. Mosquitos are bad this time of year, but great park anyway. Lots of ducks and squirrels and turtles. Beautiful to walk through. Good playground for the kids, some exercise equipment.

It was a wonderful morning for a jog in the park. No better place than Pendleton Park. It has good running trails , plenty of shade and benches to rest , also, it has a set of exercise equipment , but above all , you will find beautiful views .

A great city park with plenty to do. 2 play areas, a long walking/biking path. I come here often with my kids. The "blue park" by the tennis courts is gated and my kids enjoy running around on this one. The other area is also fun and often has less kids. There are 2 public bathrooms available near each playground area.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
