Confirmed from Harter Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Just awesome beautiful nature hiking”

Great park if you like to hike amongst lush vegetation. The Siena trail is a loop below the Miraleste Plaza. It’s possible to extend the hike either via Frascati, Lorraine and Canada or even Cotilinita trails. The Siena loop takes about 10 minutes. Nice ocean views included.

The Siena Loop Trail is the perfect neighborhood trail for walking your dog. .75 miles. I’ll definitely be back 💜🐾 Parking is a little tricky, I parked in the neighborhood across the street.

GR8 L8 morning hike this last Sunday in February 2021. Plenty of shady spots throughout the trails. Strenuous but pleasant hike for those looking to get out of their resting comfort zone. Bring along your water flask.

Harter park is not well known but it's a good hike. Starts on a downhill but quickly goes to a long uphill climb. It comes out near the Miraleste sign on PV Dr East. You can make it a loop by turning right at the top to go downhill to Miraleste Dr. Start and end at Via Colinita.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
