Confirmed from Ocean Trails Reserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Length of preserved, rugged coastline known as a habitat for native gnatcatcher birds.

Perfect day hike for an afternoon. A little hot after 12. So, maybe arrive earlier. Plenty of parking as it's adjacent to a golf course. This hike is easy and highly recommended for beginners and experience a like. If hiking isn't your thing but you're widening your perspective on life and want to learn.
Wonderful tranquil walking trail that my dog and i really enjoyed. Was looking for a nice place to walk my dog with no squirrels running around driving my dog crazy. The earlier you get here, the less crowded.
Excellent 2 mile moderate hiking trail with outstanding ocean views. Adequate parking at the lot off Rotunda Drive. The beginning of the trail is well paved and winds through the Trump National golf course. The part heading down to the beach is steep and strewn with rocks. Restrooms are at the beginning of the trail.
This was one of the coolest trails I've ever been to. Definitely not your traditional trails in the woods. These are trails right on the damn coastline. I'd say it is a moderate run/jog if running both ways, and veering off the path towards the ocean. Very decent elevation if you plan your run properly.
